Gordon and Edward is a magazine story.
Plot
Gordon boasts to Edward that he is faster and stronger as he pulls the express. Later, Gordon takes a friend of the Fat Controller to the harbour, but is surprised to see Edward coming past; he is on his way to clear some wreckage on the rails. That evening, the Fat Controller tells Gordon and Edward that, no matter what is different about them, they are both really useful.
