Gordon and George! is a is a read and colour magazine story published in 1998.
Plot[]
Gordon loves to pull the Express at great speed. One day, his driver slows him down as workmen are building a level crossing for the new road while George is being slowly transported on a trailer. Gordon calls him lazy while George brags about building new roads to put railways out of business. While being unloaded, George is careless and buckles the ramp.
The workmen are worried about the damaged ramp and telephone the Fat Controller. He assigns James to the Express while Gordon completes a special job. While he is coupled to the Breakdown Train, Gordon complains about having to do something slow. However, he cheers up when he learns that his job will be transporting George while they repair the trailer. Gordon jokes that he is lucky that railways haven’t been put out of business yet, with George remaining quiet.
