Sir Topham Hatt I was the Great-Grandfather of Sir Bertram Topham Hatt and was the founder of the North Western Railway.
He later passed away for unknown reasons and there is a statue of him at Vicarstown Plaza, carved from fine Italian marble.
Biography
After his death long ago, Thomas and Bruno were tasked with delivering a marble statue of him to Vicarstown, however Thomas' ignorance of Bruno's advice caused a crack to form in the hat. The crack eventually resulted in the marble hat being completely destroyed shortly after delivery to the plaza.
On Bruno's suggestion, Sir Topham Hatt gave his own hat - which had previously been his great-grandfather's - to the statue in the marble hat's stead.[1]
