Hackenbeck is a small village west of Ffarquhar, serviced by a station on Thomas' Branch Line.

History

Hackenbeck station consists of a single platform with a substantial building. Behind the station is a stonecutting shed, to which trucks are brought from the Ffarquhar Quarry. There is also a small open-sided shed on a siding nearby the station, which Daisy used to use prior to being transferred to the Harwick Branch Line.

The station itself is just north of the Hackenbeck Tunnel, south of which Mrs. Kyndley's Cottage is located.

• Hackenbeck Station - the main station for the hamlet of Hackenbeck.
• Hackenbeck Tunnel - an approximately 750 metre-long tunnel south of the station.
• Finney's Farm - a battery farm at the northern end of the Hackenbeck Tunnel, which is run by Farmer Finney and home to Terence.
• Mrs. Kyndley's Cottage - a small lineside cottage at the southern end of Hackenbeck Tunnel, which is home to Mrs. Kyndley.
