Hiro Helps Out! is a US magazine story.

Plot[]

Sir Topham Hatt is having a very busy day, but Hiro tells him he will be 'Master of the Railway' today. Edward asks where he should take his passengers. Hiro doesn't know where they're supposed to go, but suggests taking them to the beautiful hills.

Thomas asks Hiro where to take his load. Hiro doesn't want to bother Sir Topham Hatt, so suggests Thomas take his load to the farm. Percy then pulls up with a load of ducks. Hiro thinks the ducks will be happiest at the pond. Sir Topham Hatt soon catches up with Hiro and is not happy. The passengers are in the wrong place and Thomas and Percy have taken their loads to the wrong locations as well. Sir Topham Hatt tells Hiro where everyone should be. Hiro feels terrible and is determined to put everything right.

Hiro tells Edward, Thomas and Percy to go to Knapford where Sir Topham Hatt will tell them where to go. Back at Knapford, Sir Topham gives his orders to the engines. As the engines leave, Hiro asks what he should do now. Sir Topham Hatt tells Hiro that he will be helpful and that means doing as he is told. Hiro is made to remember who truly is 'Master of the Railway'.
