Hooray for Thomas and Other Adventures is a US VHS/DVD featuring six seventh series episodes narrated by Michael Brandon and one song. It was distributed on VHS and DVD by Anchor Bay Entertainment in 2005, and was later re-released on DVD by Lionsgate in 2009. Lionsgate released the title for digital download in 2013.

PEEP! PEEP! You're invited to the celebration on the Island of Sodor! There are new stories and fun adventures around every bend. Watch as Thomas wins a medal for saving the day. Will Edward rescue the brass band in time? Can Peter Sam help find a new refreshment stand for the Refreshment Lady? Trivia

  • The filedates of the DVD show that it was finished on November 23, 2004.
  • This release marked many things:
  • Some Anchor Bay copies contain the Lionsgate disc.
  • The DVD menu uses the original theme tune, as well as in the nameboards sequence in between the stories, making this release feature both the original theme tune and Engine Roll Call.
  • On the VHS cover, Gordon is removed, and Thomas is moved a few inches back to make more room.
  • The DVD menu appears after the program is finished, instead of following the opening logos.

Goofs

  • The credits only acknowledge the titular episode's writer and original music, leaving out Robyn CharterisJames Mason and Polly Churchill for writing the other episodes, Robert Hartshorne for all the episodes' new scores and Ed Welch for title theme tune.
  • In the Character Gallery for Duck, the Great Western Railway is incorrectly called the 'Great Western Railroad.'
  • On the Netflix cover, the title is incorrectly listed as Thomas and the Jet Engine and Other Adventures.
  • On the Amazon Prime Video promo cover, Thomas is tilted.
  • In the booklet, the section advertising The Early Years states that it includes songs, but no songs were included on that release.
  • At the beginning of Rheneas and the Roller Coaster, the narrator's line "Rheneas is a brave little engine" is misinterpreted in the captions as "Rheneas is a buoyant little engine".
