I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside is a popular British song written by John A. Glover-Kind in 1907. It was first used in the eighteenth season episode, Thomas the Quarry Engine. Toad later sings the song in the nineteenth season episode, Toad and the Whale. It was later heard instrumentally in the 4D attraction, Bubbling Boilers on Mr. Bubbles' machine.
Lyrics
- Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside
- Oh! I do like to be beside the sea!
- Oh! I do like to stroll along the Prom, Prom, Prom!
- Where the brass bands play
- "Tiddely-om-pom-pom!"
- Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside
- Oh! I do like to be beside the sea
- When I'm down beside the sea
- I'm beside myself with glee
- Beside the seaside!
- Beside the sea!
