Infogrames Entertainment SA. was a French game development and publishing company founded in 1983.
In 2001, Infogrames bought Hasbro Interactive, and with that, they acquired the rights to publish Hasbro's own franchises on PC and consoles. They also obtained the Thomas & Friends license at the time and the famous Atari banner. In 2003, all of Infogrames' publishing and development studios rebranded under the Atari banner. Infogrames remained as the company owning all the Atari studios until Infogrames Entertainment, SA was renamed Atari SA in 2009.
