Trivia

  • The wheels, track and chassis seem to be based off the Wooden Railway range.
    • The top half, couplings, and buffers seem to be based off the Take Along and the early Take-n-Play ranges, making these brands compatible.
  • There was a "Deluxe Roundhouse" (Tidmouth Sheds), but there was no regular roundhouse.
  • Gordon's prototype is incorrectly depicted with black wheels. The final model received the correct blue wheels.
  • Some destination sets mention Spencer, Salty, Edward and Emily if pressed down on the magnet buttons, despite the fact they were never released, it is likely they were planned, but were cancelled.
  • The tender from Gordon's Interactive Learning Railway model managed to make an appearance in promotional material on the 2005 Take Along character checklist, being showcased in the storage compartment of the Center Island Quarry Set.
