Kana Splashes In! is a magazine story illustrated using images from the All Engines Go series.
Plot[]
The Vicarstown Museum is holding a big fish show and Gordon asks Thomas and his friends to help transport everything needed to set up a large aquarium, including the fish. Thomas takes the ornaments, Kana takes the pebbles and Nia and Percy take the heavy tank of water full of fish.
Everything is going according to plan until one of Nia's wheels falls off. Luckily, Sandy and Carly are nearby and they start mending Nia while Percy races off to tell the others what has happened. Kana thinks she can zoom back and make sure Nia isn't late for the show. Percy warns Kana to be careful with the fish. Nia is happy when she's sees Kana arrive and wants to go as quickly as possible, but Kana soon realises it is risky. As they round a bend, they are going so fast that the fish tank nearly topples over.
Nia decides they should take a shortcut, but they are soon stopped by a fallen tree. Nia is disappointed, but Kana reminds Nia that sometimes the quickest way to get somewhere is by going slow. They push the trees off the tracks and carry on their way.
The rest of the trip goes smoothly and Nia and Kana soon arrive at the museum where a special shark tunnel has been set up. Once the fish show is set up, Kana thinks the fish look great in their new home.
