Kellsthorpe Castle is an ancient medieval fortress along the Main Line west of Kellsthorpe Road.[1] There is a shunting yard nearby.
History[]
Long ago, a king and queen used to live in Kellsthorpe Castle. It is now a tourist spot for holidaymakers to visit.
Once, Emily was taking some visitors to the castle, but became bored while waiting and decided to play "Queen for the Day" with Percy in the nearby yard. Her instructions backfired when she told Percy to take his trucks on her line, resulting in him crashing into Mavis.[2]
When a famous storyteller came to the Island, Thomas offered to take her here to write a story, but became distracted after coming across Emily broken down.[3]
