However, it does bare a resemblance to the five 0-4-0RT geared steam cog locomotives on the Achensee Railway, a 1-metre narrow gauge tourist railway in Austria. These locomotives were originally built by Wiener Lokomotivfabrik.

This engine is based on the British Rail Class 06 diesel-mechanical shunter, in particular the Hornby model of the class which has additional toolboxes. This engine also has added cowcatchers and sideplates similar to those worn by the British Rail Class 04 (Mavis' basis). These were never worn by the real Class 06s.
