King Orry's Bridge crosses the River Ab, to the south of Peel Godred. It was built during the Middle Ages and named after Godred MacHarold, who was known in Sudrian legend as "King Orry" and won a famous victory nearby. These days, road traffic uses a bridge alongside, and King Orry's Bridge is in the care of the Sodor Island Trust.
The Mid Sodor Railway built its top station here after abandoning plans to build a station in Peel Godred.
