Sir Topham Hatt was driving his car along this road to get to his wife's party at Kirk Ronan when he drove straight into a hole and got a flat tire. He refused to change the tire because he was afraid of getting dirty. Soon, Caroline arrived and gave him a short ride further until her engine got overheated. George then arrived and took Sir Topham Hatt with him until he lost control and drove straight into a muddy hole and Sir Topham Hatt also fell into the hole. Thomas, who was taking on water next to the muddy hole then took Sir Topham Hatt to Kirk Ronan.
