Lakeside is a village and station on the northern end of the Skarloey Railway. It is by the lake where Peter Sam accidentally left the Refreshment Lady behind. The Refreshment Lady's tea shop, Neptune Refreshments, is located here. There is also a blue drawbridge to allow ships to enter and exit the harbour. Lakeside Junction is also located here.

In the Railway Series, a loopline was opened in 1965 that runs round the lake passing Lakeside. In "Great Little Engines" the Refreshment Lady at Skarloey has run out of soda, but another tea-shop has enough to spare at Lakeside, and Duncan delivers the soda to the grateful boy scouts.

It only appeared in the fourth season as well as in stock footage in the seventh season.

Lakesider III can be found here.
