Laurie Israel (born in 1974) is an American scriptwriter and producer. She was an episode writer for Thomas and Friends. She also writes for other children's shows, including: "Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps", "Handy Manny", "Olivia", "The Fairly Odd Parents" and "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!". She currently writes for Disney shows, "Sofia the First", "Elena of Avalor" and "Fancy Nancy". She usually writes with Rachel Ruderman.
