Lifting Loads is a rhyming magazine story.
Plot[]
Harvey is working at the docks lifting lots of freight, including big boxes and metal pipes. Next, Harvey goes to work on a building site where he is asked to pick up loads of bricks and sand. Later, as he puffs on his way, he is stopped by a farmer whose cow has slipped into a ditch. The farmer asks if Harvey can use his mighty hook to rescue her. A harness is strapped around the animal and Harvey manages to lift the cow to safety. He says afterwards that the cow is his strangest load of all.
