Lost is a magazine story.
Plot[]
BoCo has been working very hard in the harbour moving trucks about. One day, Thomas arrives at the harbour with his coaches. Thomas asks BoCo if he can watch over Mrs. Kyndley, who Thomas has taken to the harbour to help her recover from a cold. BoCo is not too keen and tells Thomas how busy he is, but Mrs. Kyndley leaves the train and sits in a deckchair on the harbour wall.
BoCo is too distracted by his work to take any notice of Mrs. Kyndley. But by the afternoon, when he passes along the harbour wall, BoCo finds the deckchair empty. BoCo looks all around but Mrs. Kyndley is nowhere to be found. He gets a terrible shock when he finds her hat in the water and shouts out in distress to call the coastguard.
The coastguard arrives in a small boat and searches the water. People begin to gather round to see what is going on. One of these people ends up being Mrs. Kyndley. BoCo is very relieved to know she is alright. Mrs. Kyndley explains that her hat had blown away and she went to ask the harbourmaster for help to get it out. BoCo feels silly for making such a fuss.
