- "Hang on, isn't that the pink water tower I just said goodbye to?"
"No, no. That other one was more... pink-er." - ― Nia and Thomas
Lost and Found is the twenty-second episode of the first series of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.
Plot[]
One summer morning, Thomas finds a beach ball while chugging on the tracks. Nia soon finds him and explains that she is delivering a car of beach balls to Norramby. Thomas asks her if she wants to try his super-secret shortcut, but Nia says she wants to just use a map instead. Thomas shows Nia a strawberry patch that represents the beginning of the shortcut and, reluctantly, Nia agrees.
While on the shortcut, Nia and Thomas sing a little rhyme, before finding a windmill Thomas mentioned earlier. The two stare at the windmill for a while, eventually getting dizzy. Because of this, they miss the turn to enter Norramby. Now on the wrong trail, Thomas and Nia end up finding an old drawbridge. Thomas realises that this isn't part of his shortcut, but the two continue on anyway. Eventually, Thomas and Nia end up at Crovan's Creek, where they look at their reflections in the water. Following this, they end up at McColl's Farm, where Nia dances with a cow. Once again, Thomas realises this isn't part of the shortcut, but they still continue on.
Later, Thomas and Nia have gone in a loop, and are back at the farm. Thomas denies that this is the same farm, but a cow dances the same way as Nia from before. Confused, Thomas finally realises he doesn't know the way back to his shortcut. But, Nia spots a bird from Norramby, so they follow the bird to the beach. Back at Knapford, Thomas and Nia reminisce on their adventure, realising that they now know two ways to the beach.
