Marthwaite is a station. It previously served the Mid Sodor Railway and is now a halt on the Arlesdale Railway. A branch line leading to a granite quarry about 1.5 miles away (1.8 kilometers) came off the station's goods loop. It should not be confused with Maithwaite.
