Marthwaite Woods is a forest located on the Arlesdale Railway (and formerly the Mid Sodor Railway), located near Marthwaite. It was here that Bert soaked his driver and the Fat Clergyman, the latter who along with the Thin Clergyman drenched Bert all over in muddy water while driving his car.
