Mattel Television Studios (formerly Mattel Creations) is the television production division of Mattel, formed on 31 March 2016 to centralise its entertainment business, absorbing its main division at the time, Mattel Playground Productions, HiT Entertainment and the American Girl creative team. The division produced Journey Beyond Sodor/twenty-first series until the twenty-fourth series and is currently producing Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go. Since the UK release of Extraordinary Engines until the last DVD release of Animal Adventures, DVDs bear the Mattel Creations name.

On 8 February 2019, Mattel Creations was reorganised and renamed to Mattel Television.

Staff

  • Fred Soulie is the General Manager of Mattel Television, also serving as an executive producer for the series starting with Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go.
  • Micaela Winter was the producer for the series. She previously served as line producer and production manager at HiT.
  • Ian McCue was creative executive for Series 21 and supervising producer for Big World! Big Adventures!. He previously served as a producer for Journey Beyond Sodor and everything before.
  • Hannah Elder was the production supervisor. Sarah Serata later took over that role. 
  • Christopher Keenan was the Senior Vice President of Content Development and Production. He also served as an executive producer.
  • Shannon Nettleton is the Vice President of Production and the Executive in Charge of Production for the series.
  • Karen Davies is the Global Technical and Content Services Director.
