Me First is a magazine story.
Plot[]
One day, Henry and Gordon are waiting at the turntable. They agree with the turntable operator that Henry should be turned first as he arrived before Gordon. However, before he can turn it, Daisy rushes on. Despite Henry and Gordon's protests, the turntable operator turns the table for Daisy.
Meanwhile, in the yard, Annie and Clarabel are being cleaned. Daisy then rushes in and orders the workmen to clean her first. Annie and Clarabel are very cross and are not ready when Thomas comes to pick them up.
Next, Daisy goes to refill on diesel fuel at the pump, where Diesel is queued behind BoCo to be refuelled. Daisy then backs down onto the track in front of BoCo, annoying Diesel.
At the station, the Fat Controller is surprised to see Daisy there so early, her train not being due out for another hour. Now, Daisy has to wait for Thomas, Henry, Gordon, Diesel and BoCo's trains to leave before she can set off. She decides it would be wise not to push in front for a long time afterwards.
