Trivia
- The book design is similar to the book with the same name of the show.
- Prior to release, several changes were made to the front cover from the prototype. These include:
- Percy and Nia's tabs swapped places.
- Harold is more closely cropped.
- Hiro's tab was replaced by Ashima.
- Sandy was removed from Carly's tab.
- The text underneath the title was changed from "includes 13 marvellous machine friends" to "includes 12 friends plus early learning fun" to reflect the removal of Sandy.
- The background colours of all tabs were changed: Thomas from green to blue, James from blue to red, Kana from red to purple, Diesel from purple to grey, Percy from orange to green, Nia from teal to orange, Harold from green to cream, Bruno from yellow to red, Kenji from blue to grey, Hiro/Ashima from red to magenta, Carly from purple to yellow and Gordon from teal to blue.
Goofs
- In an image from the Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go first series episode A Thomas Promise, Diesel's buffers are out of place.
