Naughty and Troublesome are a pair of named Troublesome Trucks.

  • Naughty and Troublesome's names were first revealed on their ERTL collector character cards.
  • The Bachmann models of the pair in all three scales refer to them as "Troublesome Truck #1" (Troublesome) and "Troublesome Truck #2" (Naughty) respectively.
  • The illustrations of Naughty and Troublesome have been reused for other Thomas and Friends official artwork of the Troublesome Trucks.
  • As seen in prototype images of the pair and early ERTL artwork, Troublesome was originally planned to be a 4-plank truck rather than a 7-plank example.

Rickety[]

Rickety is a teal Troublesome Truck who can rock up and down as he moves.

Personality[]

Rickety is described as a truck who takes great pleasure in causing trouble, much like any other Troublesome Truck. He is unique for his "rickety" motion, hence his name.

Basis[]

Rickety is based on the 8-plank open wagon. The Railway Series character Fred Pelham and the magazine story character Old Bennett share the same basis.

Rickety also resembles a truck depicted behind S.C. Ruffey in the first illustration of Toad Stands By. Fred Pelham, who was also made in Wooden Railway as "Fred Pelhay", also comes from this illustration.

Livery[]

Rickety is painted in a teal livery with white lining, which in his original illustration is depicted as black lining. Rickety has also been painted in various other liveries including orange with white lining, grey with white lining and dark green with black lining and yellow lettering reading "Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory".

  • Bachmann intended to release a HO scale model of Rickety in 2005, however, it was cancelled.

Recycling Truck[]

The Recycling Truck is an unnamed green open wagon which is used for carrying recyclable materials on the Island of Sodor.

There is an unnamed, merchandise-exclusive recycling truck who is painted green and was created by Learning Curve for the Wooden Railway range.

Recycling Cars: All of the engines on the Island of Sodor know how important it is to recycle. These recycling cars make it possible for Thomas and his friends to transport glass, paper and aluminum to recycling facilities on the island of Sodor.

Trivia[]

  • The truck was later re-released in a 2010 three-pack with Whiff. However, it was painted orange, and its face was removed.


Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory's Coach[]

The Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory's Coach is a blue coach owned by Mr. Jolly's Chocolate Factory, who helps transport pastries across the Island of Sodor.

This coach is based on an LB&SCR Stroudley four-wheeled coach.

This coach is painted blue with a light blue window surrounds and has Mr. Jolly's logo on either side.

Pastry Cars: These Pop-Up Pastry Cars are designed to inspire children's imaginations, so they can create endless stories about Mr. Jolly and the delicious sweets he sells from his mobile concessions coach. Kids can seat the poseable Mr. Jolly figure in the coach, or raise the roof on the second car so he can stand, just like a vendor in a food truck!

Lorry 4[]

Lorry 4 is a dark blue lorry who appeared in the Round the Rails board game. He is the fourth brother of The Horrid Lorries.

The lorry is based on Foden OG range lorries, which were once a common sight around railways.

Lorry 4 is painted dark blue with a black lining. Each lorry is painted a different colour to help the players to distinguish between them.

Due to being recolours of Thomas and Henry, these engines share their basis. The tank engine is based on an LB&SCR Class E2 0-6-0T, while the tender engine is based on an London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) Stanier 5MT "Black Five" 4-6-0.

The tank engine is painted dark blue with grey valences. The tender engine is painted red.

'Arry and Bert's Triplet[]

A third diesel accompanying 'Arry and Bert appears as a non-playable character in the 2006 video game Right on Time. The three diesels are runaways, so the player has to capture them and send them to the engine depot.
