Thanks very much for all your support but I think it best to find out these things myself. I do sympathise from your support given and I'm truly very sorry about this, thankyou anyway for your contribution
Hello there. I just wanted to ask. since you have been on the wiki ever since 2009. how does it feel to be on Thomas wiki for that long?. I have been here ever since 2015 so I guess I have been here for a long time but maybe not long as you ;D
Announcements of the first series were made after Portland Bill and On Safari on Tuesday 2 October 1984.
I think Britt and Wilbert were proud of the first season once they finished it.
Only Seasons 1-2 were commissioned for Central. I'm not a hundred recent are, but I think Season 3 was broadcast for Thames Television. I don't know why or how Seasons 6-8 were broadcast on CITV and I don't think they were commissioned by any specific ITV franchise.
No CITV broadcast dates have been confirmed on the insert thus far so I wouldn't know.
I'm still entirely sure on the show's broadcast history of The Children's Channel.
Look, I can't answer every single question you throw at me. I'm not able to got so much into detail about things like merchandise. If you don’t stop asking me these questions, you'll leave me no choice but to either report an admin or block you myself. I'm sorry but these questions are getting to be too much.
All I just like to say is thank you for everything I needed to know so far, there will be no more questions but you've been a help with my reserch on Thomas, so I shall find out more things myself rather than bother you any further.
Has Season 10 been first broadcast on Milkshake or Nick Jr, if Nick Jr had broadcased the tenth series first would the Milkshake airings have started even later.
How many of the series do you thing was likely to be on Cartoon Network and The Childrens Channel and would you have the correct 1990 airings for Series 2.
Should some of the CITV presenters have a mention in the wikia as well as the Belinda books, My Child Begins To Pray, A Guide to the Steam Railways of Great Britain and several other things that are related to the Thomas The Tank Engine Man.
The dates for most of the Railway Series Books are displayed on Awdry's Railway Series Wiki if someone were to post these on the wikia and all other Railway Series editions through the years should also have a mention via Ebay.
Seasons 8-11 were first broadcast on Nick Jr., then Milkshake.
We can definitely say that 5 seasons aired on Cartoon Network. My guess is that 3 seasons aired on The Children's Channel.
To find the correct 1991 airings for Season 2, go to twitter and type in something like 21/5/91 ITV and you'll see that CITV started showing Season 2 episode individually that day. Cathode Ray has clips from RadioTimes uploaded on that site. I haven't seen any 1990 showings of Thomas from TV Times on Twitter though.
It has been known that the second series aired in 1995 on Cartoon Network. Would you know something about it.
I never knew if Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends did broadcast on CITV in 1990 at all until I found a CITV clip by Iain Bell from YouTube, the presenter at this time was Scally the Dog in the 1990 montage video.
Did Series 10 made its Milkshake airing after Nick Jr's or before as briefly explained before.
How did Series 1 first made its first broadcast in 1984 on CITV and who was the one responsible to bring it to the CITV studios, who would have announced the series on CITV and when.
How would Series 1, 2 and 3 have been broadcast on Cartoon Network at the time when the fourth and fifth seasons was made for their debuts on the same channel.
When did The Childrens Channel broadcast all the three series of thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
When did Steve Asquith, Terence Permane, Robert Gauld-Galliers and the modelling crew get involved with the production of series one.
I might be able to answer some of these questions:
I think Ian Bell meant to say that the CITV clip from 1990 of Scally introducing Thomas was from 30-7-90 because Cathode Ray just uploaded a page from a 1990 issue of TV Times featuring The Sad Story Of Henry/Edward, Gordon & Henry on Monday 30 July, and the programmes are just what Scally announced in that continuity.
Season 10 aired on Milkshake first, then on Nick Jr.
Central TV were responsible for broadcasting the first season on Children's ITV. See the broadcast dates for Season 1 for more. Also, check CITV presenters on the CITV wiki.
When Season 4-5 aired on Cartoon Network, the episodes were presented in shuffles of three alongside episodes from the previous three seasons.
As for the last question, check Series 1 under trivia for details.
