Hi! I have the VHS tape myself, and there a a number of reasons for why I decided it was most logically released in 1999.
- The advertising on the inside of the cover (which features other childrens characters) fits with the release year.
- The registration number on the VHS ( the 4 digit number on the spline) fits with the year. I have looked on other tapes (that I know were released in that year) to make a time period of when they were released.
- 1998 is to early, it seems illogical that S5 could have been dubbed so fast, since S5 was originally released in late 1998 (Norwegian dubs usually came out 1/2 years after they original release at that time)
