Plot[]
Thomas can be Really Useful but he can also be very cheeky sometimes. One day on the branch line, Thomas decides to have some fun. He tells his coaches that he could travel the whole line backwards as he knows it so well but Annie thinks that would be too dangerous and Clarabel says she would have to be the lookout.
When Thomas passes a yellow signal, he gets another idea. He will run down the line with his eyes closed. Annie and Clarabel tell him not to be silly but Thomas does so anyway. He remembers there is a bend ahead and the coaches call out that he overran a red signal but Thomas thinks they are teasing him.
Thomas does a quick peek and suddenly, he finds Edward right in front of him. Thomas stops quickly and asks Edward what he is doing there. Edward explains that he has brought workmen to mend the line. Thomas reluctantly ackowledges he missed the red signal. Edward agrees not to tell The Fat Controller and Thomas agrees to keep his eyes open while he works.
