The Itsy-Bitsy Speeder[]
The Itsy-Bitsy Speeder is a small tank engine who serves as a rail speeder and appears in Sandy's favourite story book.
Technical Details[]
Basis[]
The engine has no specific basis and is likely a freelance design, though it appears to be a modified version of Thomas or Percy.
Livery[]
The engine is painted red with a black running board, buffers and funnel. It also has one large black stripe around the middle of its boiler. A yellow symbol is painted on its side underneath the window.
Appearance[]
Trivia[]
- The name of the engine is a parody of the nursery rhyme, The Itsy-Bitsy Spider.
- In real life, it would be unusual for a steam locomotive to be used as a rail speeder.

The Purple Tender Engine is a big engine that works on the Island of Sodor.
Technical Details[]
Basis[]
Being a recolour of Henry, the engine is loosely based on an LMS Stanier 'Black Five', albeit with a 2-6-2 wheel arrangement and running board shape similar to Gordon.
Livery[]
The engine is painted purple with red lining and a gold dome.
Appearance[]
Trivia[]
- In the original series episode, Trusty Trunky, there is another purple tender engine that is also a recolour of Henry, though the two engines still share several differences.
