- These are the first trucks to have an American basis in the television series.
- The trucks' bogies are reused from Ferdinand.
- In particular, they reuse his first and second bogies, as can be distinguished by the patches of moss identical to Ferdinand's pre-restoration.
- Because they reuse his bogies, part of his drive system can still be seen between the frames, albeit without the shaft.
