Trivia
- "The Green Controller" uses the deleted sequence, where Percy sees everyone doing the wrong jobs. In this version, a signalman laughs at James' "busy bee" livery, distracting him and leading James to crash into Gordon. This is followed by Toby crashing into the back of both of them with the heavy Express, while Percy witnesses all of this in horror from another line before Thomas arrives.[1]
- The early prototype version without the buttons on the right side was originally published on August 31, 2007 using the 2001-2007 HiT Entertainment logo before the actual release.
- This is the only book that features new engines released for season 10 episodes prior to the previous year.
- In the 2010 version, Rosie’s face was changed to partial-CGI for season 12.
- Beginning in 2016, the episodes from the full-CGI era are used to this book.
- Other new engines like Fearless Freddie and Jeremy are not seen in this book unlike the 2007 DVD release of Carnival Capers.
