No Power, No Problem! is the twenty-sixth episode of the first series.
Plot[]
One morning, Percy and Sandy are playing Train Tag, while they wait for Kana to charge up. Thomas, Annie, and Clarabel arrive to take passengers to Vicarstown, when Kana's charging station suddenly runs out of power. Soon enough, all of the power in The Maintenance Yard goes out too. Gordon arrives to tell the engines that there is a severe power outage across the island. Because of this, he cancels all deliveries until the power is back on. However, Annie and Clarabel have to make it to Vicarstown, because it is the final scenic tour of the summer. Gordon reluctantly agrees, but only because Percy and Kana volunteer to go with them. Before they leave, Gordon points out that Kana might run out of power on the journey, but Kana soon shrugs it off.
On the way, the engines arrive at the level crossing at Wellsworth, where Edward, Henry, James, Diesel and the Troublesome Trucks are fighting about who should go first, so Carly and Sandy come to the rescue. Sandy tries to figure out ways to solve the problem, while Carly realizes she can lift one lever, and have the other down. With this fix, Kana realizes she can power crossing signals and lights, before the engines continue their journey to Vicarstown. The engines find themselves at Crumble Canyon, where Annie and Clarabel complain about the non-scenic route they are taking. In the canyon, a boulder runs down the tracks, almost crushing Thomas, the other engine, and the passengers. Luckily, the trains get out of the canyon safely, and the passengers loving the experience.
The engines head to the Tunnel of Zoom, and with all the lights out, Annie and Clarabel realize the passengers will not love this experience. Remembering how she lit up the crossing lights, Kana uses her electricity to power the lights in the tunnel, creating a very scenic ride for the passengers. As she does this, though, her battery goes down more and more. Later, the trains find that Quickdraw Bridge is up, and that they can't proceed. So, Kana uses the last of her energy to power the bridge down. When Percy realizes Kana doesn't have power, he couples up to her so that she can come on the rest of the journey. The journey ends at Vicarstown Lighthouse, where Annie and Clarabel thank Thomas, Percy, and Kana for the amazing journey around the Island.

- This is the final episode of the first half of Series 1. Because of this, on Netflix it is listed as the final episode of the first series.
- This episode debuted on Netflix before being listed online for broadcast.
- This is the only episode in the first series to be written by Dan Salgarolo.
- This episode was originally intended to be broadcasted in the UK on 11th April 2022, but The Real Number One was repeated instead. Repeats of the programme and Channel 5's catchup service My5 also maintained this mistake until 18th August when this episode was finally shown.
Goofs[]
- In the Netflix descriptive audio, the Maintenance Yard is mistakenly referred to as the clay pits.
- In the first shot of the level crossing, Edward's dome is floating.
- In the ground shot of the crossing, Henry's dome is layered in front of his funnel.
- Despite being positioned on the same track, Edward and James both manage to pass by each other.
- In the shot of the engines passing by the Vicarstown Lighthouse, the tunnel is missing.
- As James and Edward leave, when they blow their whistles, there is no sound.
- In the first shot of Thomas, Percy and Kana looking over the level crossing, Annie and Clarabel are behind Thomas, but in the next shot from the same angle, they are back.
