Oliver Rohrbeck (born on 21st March 1965 in Berlin) is a German actor, voice actor, voice director and dubbing script-writer who provided a voice for the German Audio Books of Thomas & Friends.
He is best known for voicing Gru from "Despicable Me", Justus Jonas from "The Three investigators", Rifleman Perkins from "Sharpe's Rifles", Émilien Coutant-Kerbalec from "Taxi", Pepe from "The Muppets", Donatello from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Special: Planet of the Turtleoids", Michael from "E. T. the Extra-Terestrial", Arven Wendik from "Star Wars: Episode I", Alex from "The Penguins of Madagascar", Doug Gardner from "Atypical" and Larry Daley from "Night at the Museum".
He is also known for performing some audio books such as Herman Melville's "Moby Dick", Michael Chrichton's "Jurassic Park" or Victor Hugo's "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame".
He also worked as voice director and/or dubbing script-writer on some "Fast & Furious"-movies, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Mamma Mia", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "The Greatest Showman", "The Grudge", "Bee Movie", "The Muppets", "ParaNorman", "The School of Rock", "Spy Kids", "Gilmore Girls" and some "Wallace & Gromit"-movies.
