On Site with Thomas and Other Adventures is a US and Canadian DVD featuring the first six episodes of Jack and the Sodor Construction Company. It was originally released by Anchor Bay Entertainment in 2006. Lionsgate re-released the DVD in 2009 and released title for digital download in 2013.
Description

- The filedates of the DVD show that it was finished on June 15, 2006.
- This release marks the first of several things:
- Other than the promotional DVDs, Fun with Thomas, Quarry Adventures on Sodor, The Story of Thomas and the Jet Engine, Thomas to the Rescue and the Take Along DVDs (excluding Thomas Tries His Best and the 2007 DVDs), this marks the first mainstream DVD release in the US not to have been released on VHS.
- This is the first time the opening of Thomas' crew getting him ready for another days work, and the ending of Thomas going back to the sheds was used in the US as it was paired in UK airings of Series 9 on Nick Jr. in 2005, despite the opening being on the Brazil DVD New Adventures of Thomas.
- The first release since New Friends for Thomas to feature the Pack in the US, as well as the first overall with the Pack to have a US narrator.
- This is the only release to feature The Work Song anywhere in the world as well as all the episodes on this release.
- This is the last DVD release from Anchor Bay Entertainment to contain original features. All Anchor Bay DVDs afterwards would recycle bonus features from previous DVDs.
- On the 2015 Double Feature Pack, the Fun and Games Menu was removed.
- The cover features images from Jack Jumps In and A Friend in Need, despite neither episode appearing on this release.
- The Trivia Challenge game features clips from the first five adventures, which are "A Visit from Thomas", "Jack Owns Up", "On Site with Thomas", "Percy's Scary Tale", and "Kelly's Windy Day".
- The Trivia Challenge morals are "Being careful is very important.", "You should always tell the truth, even if you have done something wrong.", "Halloween stories can be scary sometimes.", and "Sometimes facing what makes you afraid is very brave.".
- Alfie is a choice in the first two trivia questions.
- Oliver is a choice in trivia questions one and three.
- In Trivia Challenge, the correct answers are Oliver, Ned, Patrick, Kelly, and Isobella.
- When answering trivia questions:
- One and four, Sir Topham Hatt says, "Well done!" and his way of saying it sounds different in them.
- Two, Sir Topham Hatt says, "You got it!".
- Three, Sir Topham Hatt says, "Splendid!".
- Five, which is the last one, Sir Topham Hatt says, "You are really useful! Very good.".
Goofs
Oliver is shown instead of Ned.
- Patrick is referred to as an engine in the description.
- The Ned section in the Character Gallery has a picture of Oliver.
- Monty's name is misspelled as "Monte" in the Trivia Challenge game.
- On the first Maple Pictures disc, the copyright year is incorrectly shown as 2007.
- On the second Maple Pictures disc, the HiT Entertainment logo is missing words.
- On the Wooden Railway Limited Edition packaging, the back cover lists George Carlin as the narrator.
- The back cover incorrectly cites David Mitton as director, and Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell as song composers.
- Jack's left arm has a pink spot on the front cover next to Thomas.

- The Sing-Along Songs menu lists the songs in the wrong order.
