On Track with Thomas is a Play-a-Sound book released by Publications International in 2012.
Plot[]
It is the day of The Great Sodor Treasure Hunt, and all the engines are trying to get back Knapford as fast as they can after collecting all the items. Thomas gets to Knapford first, then James, then Mavis, then Gordon, but Percy is nowhere to be seen.
The 4 engines decide to backtrack to find Percy. James saw him in the Hackenbeck Tunnel looking for 3 black bats, Mavis saw him at the Whiff's Waste Dump looking for a milk can and Gordon saw him in the Whistling Woods searching for a bluebird's feather. After sharing their information, the engines speed off to find Percy. They even get Harold and Bertie to help search for him, with the former going to Culdee Fell, and the latter going to Callan Castle.
Lord Callan tells Bertie that Percy came in the morning to borrow one of his helmets. Meanwhile, Thomas is searching everywhere, but gives up and heads to Knapford, hoping Percy will be waiting at the finish line.
When Thomas gets there, Percy isn't there, but then he hears a noise... it's Percy! Percy apologises for worrying everyone, as he wasn't lost, just really slow, and how he didn't find every item either. But Thomas tells him that he found the best thing of all, friendship!
