Many different types of rolling stock have been used on the Skarloey Railway in Thomas & Friends.

Tankers

These tankers are used at the Blue Mountain Quarry.

Technical Details

Basis

The tank is sourced from a 3D render of a DOT-111 tank car.[1] The tank itself is mounted on the chassis of a modified GWR ventilated van flatbed and scaled down to narrow gauge accordingly.

Livery

These tankers are painted yellow and two Blue Mountain Quarry symbols, one on each side.

Stakebed Wagons

These Stakebed Wagons are rolling stock used for transporting goods and materials throughout the railway. They can be seen at the Blue Mountain Quarry.

Technical Details

Basis

These wagons are identical to the standard gauge GWR Stakebed Wagons, although they are scaled down to narrow gauge accordingly.

Quarry Hoppers

These Quarry Hoppers are small steel-bodied open wagons, used for carrying stone at the Blue Mountain Quarry.

Technical Details

Basis

These hoppers are a freelance design. They are low poly renders that appear to be significantly modified from the standard gauge quarry hoppers.

Livery

These wagons are painted charcoal black.
