Biography[]
After Thomas had left with his last branch line train, David Mitton arrived at Knapford and requested a special train for an important passenger, resulting in Thomas being shunted to a siding while Stepney took the special train.[1]

- David Mitton's figures were reused from other characters:
- His small scale body was reused from the Ulfstead fogman. From the sixth series onwards, his small scale body was reused from the Mid Sodor Railway Manager.
- In the HiT Entertainment era, a new small scale figure of David Mitton was created which subsequently appeared in many episodes as a background character.
- David Mitton's small scale head is now owned by Twitter user LewRaccoon.

- During production of the fifth series, her body was repainted slightly for Mrs. Kyndley in Happy Ever After.

Biography[]
The Prince joined his mother on the royal train pulled by Duchess. However, when Duchess burst her safety valve, Thomas pushed her and the train to Victoria Station, where the Queen present Sir Topham Hatt the best railway award, while the young prince told Thomas that his adventures in the books and his travels around the world inspired him and presented him an award for his actions.
