Brenda informs Max and Monty that they left large pile of stones to her worksite. When the Pack the found the stone, it was not Max and Monty's fault, it was actually the stone from the foundations to make them strong to build on top of them. Trivia

  • Going by production order, this is the twentieth episode of the twenty-third series and the last regular-length episode of the twenty-third series.
  • This episode marks several things about Jenny Packard:
  • This is the first episode of two things:
    • The first episode where Thomas only appears in a fantasy sequence rather than the episode itself.
    • The first episode of the main series where no engines have speaking roles (outside of fantasy sequences).
    • Jack, Alfie and Oliver's first speaking roles in a regular-length episode since the twentieth series episode, Mucking About.
  • This episode marks Nia's only non-speaking appearance in the twenty-third series.
  • This episode marks the last appearance of Terence's Field.
  • Brenda's line "None shall pass!" is a reference to a line from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It is also a reference to a song by Aesop Rock.
  • This episode aired before Mines of Mystery in the US, so the US audiences would not know who Brenda is.
  • On the Nick Jr. US airing of this episode, it was paired with First Day on Sodor!.

Goofs

  • When Alfie and Oliver realise the first load of stone is missing, Oliver has Alfie's voice.
  • Brenda's treads are out of sync with her movements at multiple points during the episode.
  • In the UK dub, Rachael Miller was not credited for voicing Rebecca. Also, Salty is not listed under Keith Wickham's characters whereas the Fat Controller does despite not appearing in the episode.
  • When Brenda moves the stone, a few stone pieces clip through her.
