Paul Larson is an English scriptwriter, songwriter, and composer who wrote episodes of Thomas & Friends and the spin-off series Jack and the Sodor Construction Company. During the seventh series and Jack and the Sodor Construction Company, he also worked as story consultant. Later, he and Abi Grant were the script editors for the eighth series. Other credits include Bob the Builder, Sooty, Construction Site, Charlie and Lola, The Hoobs, Angelina Ballerina, The Magic Roundabout, Rubbadubbers, Fireman Sam, Jungle Junction, Horrid Henry, Dream Street, The Top Secret Show, Poppy Cat, Mike the Knight, Tickety Toc, Q Pootle 5 and Lily's Driftwood Bay. He frequently writes with Laura Beaumont (both he and Beaumont have served as head writers for Fireman Sam and the first series of the Bob the Builder reboot with James Mason in 2015). Paul Larson is also the longest participating episode writer in the history of the Thomas & Friends franchise.
