Peel Godred (AEG)

Peel Godred is a large town on the Island of Sodor. The North Western Railway runs through the streets of the town. A bakery-café is located here.

Gordon at one point held a speed record between Peel Godred and Norramby Beach.^[1]
In the first series episode The Super-Long Shortcut, Peel Godred is erroneously depicted using the background of Harwick (albeit with the windmill removed), likely due to budgetary constraints. This is despite Peel Godred being a landlocked town near the Island's centre, with no connection to the sea. Peel Godred later gained its own unique set in the third series.
