Percy's Perfect Place, retitled Percy and the Skunks for British and Canadian realises, is the fifth short of the Short Story Adventures series.
Plot[]
Percy has just finished delivering the mail train, and is trying to find a good place to nap. First, he tries on an empty siding near McColl Farm, only for his funnel to get filled with butterflies. Then, he tries the forest, only to be scared away by strange noises. He then tries to sleep by a field, only to be awoken by cows and sheep. Eventually, Percy is so tired, that he ends up falling asleep, but not before immediately being woken up by a strange smell. The smell turns out to be from a skunk, which sends Percy into a state of panic. He races through the docks, narrowly misses Nia and Kana, whooshes past Thomas, and races up and down the loop several times. Thomas asks his best friend what is wrong, and Percy explains the situation to him. Thomas then tells Percy that he knows the perfect napping place, being in own berth at Tidmouth Sheds.

- This short was formally known as Percy and the Skunks.
- The story is similar to the original series episode, A Shed for Edward.
- This is the second time an engine gets sprayed by a skunk. The first was in A Wide Delivery.
- The intro at the beginning of the short is reused from Nia and the Ducks.
- This is the first time in the series where Carly and/or Sandy do not appear in The Maintenance Yard.
- Percy swerving into a siding and bumping into the buffers is similar to his Meet the Steam Team video from the original series.
- An instrumental snippet of Chugga-Chugga Snooze Snooze can be heard as Thomas shunts Percy into his berth.

- Cranky is seen missing at Brendam Docks.
