Percy, re-titled Percy the Small Engine in 2011, is the eleventh book in the My Thomas Story Library series.
Plot
Percy loves playing tricks on the other engines and gets into trouble. He soon proves to be a brave and useful engine when he battles a flood to take some children home from the seaside.

- Unlike in the episode, James does not get scolded by the Fat Controller. Instead, he explained to him about Percy playing tricks on him and Gordon.
