The Postmaster, also known as the chief, is the head of the Mail Depot.
Biography[]
While Tom Tipper was ill, the postmaster decided that Tom's post van was too expensive run and replaced it with a bicycle, however, after Percy accidentally ran it over following a mishap with some boys, the postmaster decided to let Tom have a new van instead.

Biography[]
When the new postman arrived at Ffarquhar on his bicycle, he was in a bad mood and he dumped the mailbags on the platform and left without helping to load them onto Percy's Mail Train.
