Trivia[]

  • Not all episodes from the listed series are streamed. For example, in the nineteenth and twentieth series, some of the episodes cannot be viewed. This may be due to the episodes coming on a separate disc on the 'Complete Series' DVDs.
  • Series 8 is the only fully Japanese dubbed series of the model era in Japan that was never made available for streaming on the Japanese Amazon Prime, probably because Sony Creative Products Inc. never got the rights to own the entirety of the eighth series after Fuji Television Network, Inc. sold Thomas and Friends off to them for all future Japanese dubs.
  • This was one of the first streaming platforms to stream the twentieth series, as well as one of the first to stream the twenty-first series.
  • While some DVD compilations are viewable for free with an Amazon Prime membership, others require the viewer to pay.
  • Originally, Prime Video along with Netflix and Hulu were to stream the twenty-second series in 2018, but ultimately, Nickelodeon was chosen to air the series on Nick Jr. instead. However, the twenty-second series was eventually brought to Prime Video in November 2020, after Nickelodeon's deal with Mattel had expired. Had Prime Video, Netflix and Hulu streamed the twenty-second series, it would have been the first series to fully debut on streaming.
  • Originally, Alec Baldwin's narration for Jack Jumps In was lost/unavailable, and Michael Angelis' narration was the only one available in the US until the Prime Video release of the sixth series when Baldwin's narration of the episode was finally made available.

Goofs[]

  • On the Australian version, Series 23 is mistaken as Series 3.
  • Episode backgrounds from the classic series feature fan content, one of which is Samuel Clark's Hornby LBSC Thomas model.
  • In the American English version, some of the twenty-first series episodes use the UK dub in the US. Despite this, the subtitles still match the US dub.
