Publications International, Ltd. (sometimes abbreviated as pil) is an American publisher founded in 1967 by Louis Webber. They have produced over 400 books per year, including cookbooks. They have also published various interactive Thomas & Friends books, many of which have sound functions.

- The read-along books have an altered intro message when a matching cartridge is inserted into the Story Reader electronic reader:
