Rheneas, also known as Middle Station, is a station and waterfall on the Skarloey Railway. Rheneas is named after it.

History[]

Rheneas is a two-platform station acting as a passing loop for trains going in the 'up' and 'down' directions. The station has an ungated level crossing, a two-berth engine shed and a watermill close by. The Rolling River Bridge is located north of the town.

Trivia[]

The watermill is based on Muncaster Watermill, located by the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.
- Coincidentally, this was the basis for Arlesdale Watermill on the Arlesdale Railway in The Railway Series.
During production of the fourth series, this station was referred to as Middle Station.
The watermill was on display at the Awdry Extravaganza 5.
