Trivia[]
- As he stated towards the start of the show's run, Suvalle intended for All Engines Go to act as an introductory point to the franchise, hoping viewers would eventually discover the original series after watching.
- Rick mentioned on Twitter that his favourite characters in the original Thomas & Friends are Edward, Henry and Gordon, and his favourite characters in Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go are Gordon and Sandy.[1]
- He has also mentioned on Twitter that his favourite episodes in the original Thomas & Friends are The Flying Kipper and Granpuff, and his favourite episode in Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go is Thomas' Day Off.[2]
- Suvalle has stated that while it was always intended for Edward and Henry to speak in All Engines Go, the expense of casting new voice actors for the roles meant that whenever either of them had lines in a script, the production crew would instead give them to pre-cast characters already in the episode.
