The River Arle is a river in Arlesdale that runs past Marthwaite and Arlesdale Green and flows through Arlesburgh into the Sudrian Sea. The Hackenbeck stream also flows into the river near Ffarquhar Road. It is approximately 3 miles (5 kilometres) long. Arlesburgh Harbour is at the mouth end of the river.
