The River Callan is a small river near Thomas' Branch Line.
Course[]
The river begins just west of Hackenbeck and runs south-west for roughly five kilometers before joining the River Els near Elsbridge. The main road from Elsbridge to Ffarquhar runs on the opposite side of the stream from Thomas' Branch Line.

Trivia[]
- While it is likely coincidental, there is a real river in Northern Ireland with the same name.
- As shown on 1959 maps of the Ffarquhar Branch Line, the river was originally named the Kindbeck.
