Many road vehicle drivers have been seen around Island of Sodor and abroad, operating the various road vehicles, such as buses and lorries.
Bus Drivers[]

Bus drivers are responsible for driving the buses. On the Island of Sodor, there are several bus drivers who work for Sodor Roadways. One of them is Bertie's driver.
Uniform[]
A bus driver's uniform consists of dark blue trousers, a black tie and a white shirt with a dark blue jacket over it. They wear a dark blue peaked cap with a black brim.

Lorry drivers are responsible for driving the lorries.
Biography[]
When Mavis was approaching the crossing on The Quarry Tramroad, a new lorry driver drove his lorry must too fast towards her and hits her cowcatcher and his lorry lands in a ditch next to the road.
When Thomas was damaged after hitting a faulty level crossing gate, the driver of B1054X1 picked him up and took him to York. When the driver parked his lorry and left to ask for directions, a a traffic warden wrote him a ticket for illegal parking, much the disgruntled driver's annoyance.
